The honest bit

Your customers do not care
where we sit.

Nobody has ever chosen a plumber because their web designer lived nearby. They chose the one they found first.

A website is not plumbing. There is nothing in the job that needs a person in the room, and there has not been for years.

What does change from market to market is the search: what people type, who already ranks, which spelling they use, and what a site is worth locally. So that is the part we research, city by city.

Distance is not the problem.
Being invisible is.

A local agency that never researched a search term will lose to a researched site every time, no matter which street they are on. We work in seven markets because the method travels, and because the businesses in all of them have the same quiet problem: a website that looks fine and gets found by nobody.

Where we work

Web design locations. Seven markets, and every
one of them researched.

Pick your country to see the cities we cover there, what the live results look like, and what a site actually costs in that market. Each country page is researched on its own, because Manchester and Melbourne have nothing in common except the language.

How a market gets opened

We research the city
before we write a word.

Every market page on this site started as research, not a template with the city name swapped in. That is the difference between a page that ranks in your town and a page that reads like it was written for anywhere.

01

We read the live results

Not a keyword tool and not a memory of last year. We look at what Google is showing in your city today, and who is already sitting there.

02

We map what people ask

The searches, the follow-up questions and the phrasing people actually use. British, American, Australian and South African English are not the same language in a search box.

03

We build for that market

Service pages, area pages, guides and answer hubs written for your city, with the schema, the local currency and the right domain extension in place.

Where we are

Built in South Africa.
Borderless by design.

3XRANK is a South African company, and has been building websites since 2011. We say that plainly because it is not a weakness to manage, it is simply where the work is done.

The business is borderless on purpose. Every part of the job, the research, the writing, the build, the hosting and the support, happens online, which means a business in Leeds and a business in Durban get the same work at the same standard. What we localise is the thing that has to be local: the search, the spelling, the currency and the domain.

There is a practical benefit too. South African costs mean a researched, 250 page authority site sits well under what a London or Los Angeles agency charges for five pages and a stock photo. Same work, honest price, and you own all of it.

Remote since 2011
This company has never worked any other way. Nothing about the job needs us in your city.
Your currency, your extension
Billed in USD or ZAR, and we register the domain your market trusts, .co.uk, .com.au, .ca, .co.za, .ie or .com.
Your local Google
Pages are built for google.com, google.co.uk, google.com.au and the rest, with the schema and signals each one reads.
Your English
Optimise or optimize, colour or color, suburb or neighbourhood. We write the spelling your customers type.
What we do

Six services, wherever
your customers are.

All coded, all owned by you, all researched for your market first. Most clients start with the site and add the rest as the work comes in.

More questions

What people ask before
they hire from abroad.

Fair questions, asked by people about to spend real money with a company on another continent. Straight answers, no sales call required.

“Do you work in my country?”

If it is one of the seven listed above, yes, and we already have the market research behind it. If it is another English speaking country, tell us and we will research it the same way before we quote you. What we will not do is take the work and guess, because a site built on guesses is the exact thing this company exists to replace.

“Where is 3XRANK actually based?”

South Africa. We have never hidden it and we have never needed to. The research comes from live Google results in your city, the writing is done in your spelling, and the site is hosted wherever it serves your customers fastest. Being based somewhere is not the same as being limited to it.

“How can you know my local market from another continent?”

Because the market tells us, in public, every day. We read the live results for your city, the questions people ask around them, and the competitors already sitting there. That is a more honest picture than an agency down the road working from memory and a keyword tool that was last updated a year ago.

“Will my site rank in my country’s Google?”

That is the whole point of building per market. Local ranking comes from local signals: the right domain extension, the right address and schema, content aimed at what your city searches, and pages for the areas you actually serve. We set those up as part of the build, not as an upsell afterwards.

“What currency will I be billed in?”

USD or ZAR, and you switch between them on the pricing page before you commit to anything. Nothing appears on an invoice you did not agree to, there are no exchange rate surprises mid-year, and the price you sign up at is the price that gets charged.

“Do you write in British or American English?”

Whichever one your customers type. Optimise and optimize are different search terms, and so are suburb and neighbourhood, mobile and cell, holiday and vacation. Getting this wrong is a quiet way to lose rankings in your own country, so we set it per market before the first page is written.

“What about time zones and support?”

Support runs through the client area, so nothing depends on catching a person live. Messages are answered inside a working day, and for most markets the overlap is bigger than people expect. In four years of remote work the time zone has never been the reason something was late.

“Which page should I start on?”

Your country page, above. It shows the cities we research there, what a site costs in that market, and what we found in the live results. If you would rather skip the reading, start the builder and describe your business, and it will show you the structure it would build for your city.

FAQ

Still wondering.

Which countries do you work in?

+

Seven at the moment: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Ireland. Each one has its own researched country page, and its own city pages underneath. If your country speaks English and is not on the list, ask us and we will research it properly before quoting.

Where is 3XRANK based?

+

South Africa, and we have been building websites since 2011. The company is deliberately borderless: research, writing, builds, hosting and support all happen online, so where we sit changes nothing about the work you receive.

Can you build for a country that is not listed?

+

Usually yes. The method is the same anywhere Google operates and English is searched. What takes the time is the market research, so we do that first and tell you honestly what we found before you commit to anything.

How do you understand my local market?

+

We read the live Google results for your city rather than relying on memory or a stale keyword tool. Who ranks now, what people ask, how they phrase it, and what the competition is missing. That is public information, updated daily, and it does not require an office down the road.

What currency will I be billed in?

+

USD or ZAR, and you choose before you commit. The switch is right on the pricing page. No mid-year exchange rate surprises, and nothing lands on an invoice you did not agree to.

Do you handle local domain extensions?

+

Yes. We register and manage .com, .co.uk, .com.au, .ca, .co.za, .co.nz and .ie, among others, and we advise which one your market actually trusts. The domain is registered in your name, not ours.

Will my site rank in my country’s Google?

+

That is what building per market is for. Local ranking comes from local signals: the right extension, the right address and schema, pages for the areas you serve, and content aimed at what your city searches. All of that is part of the build.

Do you write in British, American or Australian English?

+

Whichever your customers type. Optimise and optimize are different searches, and so are suburb and neighbourhood. We set the spelling per market before the first page is written, because getting it wrong quietly costs rankings at home.

How does support work across time zones?

+

Through the client area, so nothing depends on catching someone live. Messages are answered within a working day, and for most of our markets the overlap with South African hours is larger than people expect.

What is the first step?

+

Open your country page above and see what we found in your market. Or start the builder, describe your business, and watch it lay out the structure it would build for your city. If you would rather talk, book a consultation and we will tell you honestly whether we fit.
