Name it. Own it. Rank it.

Hundreds of brandable name ideas, and we only show the ones whose domain is still free. Then we tell you the one thing no other name generator will: what your site actually needs to rank for.

The interview

Business name generator, four questions. Then the names.

No wizard, no waiting. Answer what you can, skip what you cannot, and the second question is the one that matters most.

01 · What does your business do?
02 · Is it local? Where? (optional, the important one)
03 · Who is it for?
04 · Name style

The part no other generator will tell you

Your business name will not get you found.
Your H1 will.

The H1 on your homepage
Emergency Plumber in Modesto

A worked example. Fill in the interview above and this becomes your actual H1.

For a local service a clever name is nice, but owning the search for what you do, where you do it, is what pays the bills. This is the page title that wins it.

Every name generator on the internet stops at the name. This is the part they skip, and it is the part that decides whether the phone rings.

Choosing well

How to choose a name that ranks.

First, the truth every other generator dodges: Google does not rank names. It ranks pages.

So stop hunting for the keyword-stuffed name. Pick one people can say, spell and remember.

Skip hyphens and numbers, they get lost the moment someone hears the name out loud. And test it once on the phone: if you have to spell it twice, it is not the one.

The name carries the brand.
The structure carries the ranking.

That is why the H1 block above matters more than anything else on this page. Choose a name you are proud to answer the phone with, then let the site do the finding.

Before you print the van

Check the domain before you fall in love.

A name without its domain is a problem you have not met yet. Before the logo, before the signage, before you tell a single customer, search the name. If the exact match is gone, that is not the end of it. This page has already shown you the variations and the extensions still free, and any of them can carry the brand.

Before you commit
Search the exact name, not roughly it
Check the extension your customers trust
Register it the same day, the good ones go
Point it at nothing if you must, it is still yours
The legal bit

Can you actually trademark it?

A domain being free does not make the name legally yours, those are two different systems. As a rule of thumb, made-up brandable names are the easiest to protect and descriptive ones the hardest, because nobody gets to own the words everyone in a trade needs. We build websites, we are not trademark lawyers, so for anything you plan to grow, check the trademark registry where you trade before you commit.

FAQ

Still wondering.

Is the name generator really free?

+

Yes. No sign-up, no email gate, no card. It is a tool we built because people kept asking us to name things, and it is genuinely useful on its own. If you go on to register the domain or build the site with us, great, but nothing here requires it.

How does the availability check work?

+

The names are checked against domain registration data when you search, so available means available right now. That changes fast, good names get taken every day, so if you see one you love, register it before someone else does.

Do I have to register the domain with 3XRANK?

+

No. The names are yours, take them anywhere. Registering with us is one click from here and the renewal is the price you saw, but the generator does not lock you into anything.

Does my business name affect my Google ranking?

+

Far less than people think. Google ranks pages, not names. A clear name helps people remember and trust you, but the ranking work happens in your site structure, your H1s and the pages that answer what people actually search. That is exactly the part we build.

Can I trademark a generated name?

+

Sometimes, and it depends on your country and your industry. Made-up brandable names are usually the easiest to protect, descriptive ones the hardest. We are builders, not trademark lawyers, so before you print the van, check the registry where you trade.

What should I do once I have picked a name?

+

Register the domain the same day, even if the site comes later. Then, when you are ready, the builder takes your name, researches your market and builds the whole authority site around it, structure, content, SEO and all.

Found one? Grab the domain.

The good ones go. Register it today, point it at nothing if you have to, and it is yours while you build.
