You can handle some of it. We would be lying if we said otherwise, and plenty of owners do their own edits, because we are the last people to gatekeep the simple stuff. Turn on automatic updates, install a backup plugin, and for a quiet little site you might be fine for a while. It is genuinely enough sometimes, and when it is, we will tell you to save your money.

“Why not just use
a maintenance plugin?”
Sometimes you can, and we will tell you when. If a backup plugin and automatic updates genuinely cover a small, simple site, that is a fine answer for a while, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Then the backup you assumed was running turns out to have stopped in March, and nobody knew. It depends on how much you want off your plate, and we keep it simple with a few clear packages, billed monthly and upfront, so there is never a surprise. The one thing worth knowing now is that a plan is the small, predictable cost that exists to prevent the large, unpredictable one.
The essentials. Updates, backups, security and monitoring, so the site stays safe and online, with a set number of small edits included each month.
Weeks, not months. The safety net every live site should have, and almost none do.
Everything in the lightest plan, plus generous edits, content changes and priority when something breaks. The one most businesses actually want, so the website is simply never their problem.
A couple of months. The commonest plan, and the one that pays for itself the first time it saves you.
Unlimited edits, more pages whenever you need them, your on-page SEO improved over time, and two fresh blog articles every week. This is not a maintenance plan, it is your business.
Longer, and staged. Upgrades and new features to your web apps are quoted separately, so a plan never hides a big bill.
Not the size of the site. Not the number of pages. It is how much you want to stop thinking about. “Change this price” is a small ask. “Change this price, update the three pages that mention it, refresh the meta, and make sure the old link still works” is the real one, and a plan quietly handles all of it, because the little jobs are never quite as little as they sound.
So we agree what is included, in plain words. Not to catch you out, but so there is never an argument later about what the plan covers.

We will tell you when you do not need one.
If your site is a simple brochure that never changes and never will, you may not need a plan at all, and we will say so rather than take a monthly fee for watching a page that does nothing. A plan is for sites that actually do something, where breaking has a real cost.
And two honest things upfront. The fee is monthly and paid in advance, and it is due whether or not you send us a single request that month, because the watching, the updates and the backups never stop even when you are quiet. And plainly: while we do everything we reasonably can to keep your site safe, online and backed up, 3XRANK cannot accept responsibility for losses outside our control, a host outage, a third-party failure, a lost sale or a ranking drop. We reduce the risk, we do not insure against the world.
