Website Management

You send a message.
It gets done.

Your website and your web apps, hosted with us, maintained by us, and watched every day. You send a message, we make the change. Something breaks or the site goes down, we are already on it, usually before you have even noticed.

Start with the obvious

“A website is finished once it launches, right?”

That is the expensive misunderstanding. A site is never actually finished.

The day it goes live is the day it starts drifting out of date, and the day the clock starts on the next thing that breaks.

Plugins update, a host changes something, an attacker tries an old door, a form quietly stops sending. None of it announces itself, it just slowly rots, until one morning the site is down, or slow, or hacked.

The thing that matters is not technical. It is this: a site nobody watches does not stay still, it quietly falls apart.

You do not have a website problem. You have a nobody-is-watching problem.

If your site runs on WordPress, a shop, a form or any plugin, it needs the same thing a car does, regular, boring servicing by someone who knows what they are looking at. The fix is not a maintenance plugin that emails a report. It is a person, hosted alongside your site, who keeps it updated, backed up and online, and makes the changes you ask for.

What a plan actually covers

What we actually do.

Not a monthly report nobody reads. The actual, boring, essential jobs that keep a site alive, plus a real person who makes the changes you ask for.

01

Edits, done for you

You send a message, change this, add that, swap this photo, update the price, and it gets done, without you ever opening WordPress or waiting a week for a reply.

02

Updates and patches

The core, the plugins and the code kept current and secure, applied carefully and checked, so nothing breaks quietly the way it does when updates pile up ignored.

03

Backups and security

Off-site backups running on their own, the site monitored for malware and attacks, and a hack cleaned up fast, so a bad day stays a small one instead of a disaster.

04

Uptime and errors

We watch for outages, errors and Search Console warnings directly, because your site is hosted with us, so a site that goes down or drops off Google is usually caught before you lose a customer.

05

Content kept current

Text, images, pages, prices and opening hours kept up to date on request, so the site always says what is true now, not what was true two years ago.

06

Web apps maintained

The coded systems we built for you kept running, watched and patched, so your booking, your CRM or your store stays reliable. New features and upgrades are quoted separately.

Whose sites we look after

Websites, web apps, shops, and whatever you run.

We maintain the sites and web apps we built, we look after 3XRANK builder sites for owners who do not want to touch the technical side, and once a site someone else built is hosted with us, we can look after that too. A guesthouse, a restaurant, a lead-generation site, a shop, it does not matter what it is, it matters that someone is watching it. Not sure yours qualifies? Ask.

If it lives online,
we can look after it.

That is not a slogan, it is the actual answer. There is only whether a plan earns its keep for you yet, and that is a conversation, not a category. Most sites we take on had simply been left alone too long, which is usually why someone came looking.

Tell us your idea →
The question of the moment

“Can’t I just handle
it myself?”

You can handle some of it. We would be lying if we said otherwise, and plenty of owners do their own edits, because we are the last people to gatekeep the simple stuff. Turn on automatic updates, install a backup plugin, and for a quiet little site you might be fine for a while. It is genuinely enough sometimes, and when it is, we will tell you to save your money.

What those tools quietly don’t tell you

They make something that looks handled. The ninety percent that bites you is the part nobody is watching.

An auto-update that breaks the site overnight
Backups that quietly stopped months ago
The site down at 2am, and nobody alerted
A form that stopped sending, unnoticed for weeks

The easy bits are easy. It is the 2am bits that cost you customers.

The catch nobody mentions

You have to know what you’re looking at.

To rely on a plugin and good intentions well, you have to notice the moment an update breaks something, the day a backup silently fails, or the hour the site goes down, and you have to be free to drop everything and fix it. The AI won’t tell you. It’s confident either way. A business owner has no way to know, and shouldn’t have to.

We use the exact same AI. The difference is that someone is watching it for you, catching the thing before it becomes a crisis, and answering for the result.

Doing the edit was never the hard part. Being the one watching was.

Same trap, on the website side

A minute to build, and it looks done. That’s the problem.

The AI website builders advertised everywhere produce a beautiful site in a minute, with no real SEO, no schema, no structure underneath. It sits there looking lovely, ranks for nothing, converts nobody, and brings you not one lead.

Our builder is the other kind on purpose: the SEO, the schema and the structure are baked in, because people who understand them built the engine.

A pretty website with no backbone isn’t cheap. It’s an expensive way to be invisible.

Why it is hosted with us

We cannot look after a site we
cannot reach.

This is the part that makes the whole thing work. Because your website and your web apps are hosted with us, we have direct access to them, so a change is one we can actually make, and a problem is one we can actually see. A maintenance plan for a site we cannot reach is just a promise.

Your site and your email sit on our managed hosting, where we watch them directly. The application web apps we maintain sit on hosting built for applications, watched the same way. Everything under one roof, ours, so nothing you rely on is somewhere we cannot get to.

01

Direct access, so we can act

Because the site lives with us, a message turns into a change in hours, not a week of back and forth with a host who does not answer the phone.

02

We see it before you do

Because we host it, our monitoring watches your site directly, so downtime, errors and Search Console warnings reach us straight away, usually before a single customer has noticed a thing.

03

One place, one bill

You never chase anyone. The hosting, the maintenance and every request you send live in one client area, on one login, on one monthly invoice, the lot.

Always a message away.

No support ticket into a void. No forum. No help centre that answers everything except your actual question. You get a person who knows your site, not a rotating queue of strangers. Someone who remembers you changed the booking flow last spring, and who you can just message. That is the whole point, and it only works because it is hosted with us.

The question everyone asks first

“Why not just use
a maintenance plugin?”

Sometimes you can, and we will tell you when. If a backup plugin and automatic updates genuinely cover a small, simple site, that is a fine answer for a while, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The trouble starts when it almost does the job. Until an auto-update breaks the layout. Then one plugin conflicts with another. Then the backup you assumed was running turns out to have stopped in March, and nobody knew. A pile of plugins doing the watching, and not one of them able to read your message, judge whether a change is safe, or pick up the phone when the site is down.

That is the moment a person becomes cheaper than a plugin, and it is usually right after something has already broken.

A managed planCoded for you
Off-the-shelf + plugins
Who is actually watching

A plugin, until it fails

If a plugin genuinely covers you, use the plugin. We would rather tell you that than take your money.

The one nobody will answer

“So what does
a plan cost me?”

Every agency page you’ve read today has dodged this. Here’s the honest version.

It depends on how much you want off your plate, and we keep it simple with a few clear packages, billed monthly and upfront, so there is never a surprise. The one thing worth knowing now is that a plan is the small, predictable cost that exists to prevent the large, unpredictable one.

The lightest plan
A tool

The essentials. Updates, backups, security and monitoring, so the site stays safe and online, with a set number of small edits included each month.

Weeks, not months. The safety net every live site should have, and almost none do.

The plan most people want
A system

Everything in the lightest plan, plus generous edits, content changes and priority when something breaks. The one most businesses actually want, so the website is simply never their problem.

A couple of months. The commonest plan, and the one that pays for itself the first time it saves you.

The unlimited plan
A platform

Unlimited edits, more pages whenever you need them, your on-page SEO improved over time, and two fresh blog articles every week. This is not a maintenance plan, it is your business.

Longer, and staged. Upgrades and new features to your web apps are quoted separately, so a plan never hides a big bill.

What actually moves the number

Not the size of the site. Not the number of pages. It is how much you want to stop thinking about. “Change this price” is a small ask. “Change this price, update the three pages that mention it, refresh the meta, and make sure the old link still works” is the real one, and a plan quietly handles all of it, because the little jobs are never quite as little as they sound.

Where we start

So we agree what is included, in plain words. Not to catch you out, but so there is never an argument later about what the plan covers.

How it goes

Nobody sells a plan
and then goes silent.

The classic way maintenance fails is that a plan is sold, then nothing visibly happens until the day the site breaks and everyone argues about whose job it was. Ours is the opposite, you feel it every time you send a message and it just gets done.

01

You host with us

Your site and your web apps move onto our hosting, if they are not already, so we have direct access to watch them and to make changes fast. That is the step that makes everything else possible.

02

You message, we do it

Send a request, an edit, a new page, a fix, and it gets done, while we quietly handle the updates, backups, security and monitoring you never see.

03

Monthly, upfront, no lock-in

You pay a simple monthly fee, upfront, and the site is watched whether or not you ask for anything that month. No contracts that trap you, and your site stays yours.

Where we’ll talk you out of it

When we shouldn’t
put you on a plan.

Everyone sells a care plan.
We will tell you when you do not need one.

If your site is a simple brochure that never changes and never will, you may not need a plan at all, and we will say so rather than take a monthly fee for watching a page that does nothing. A plan is for sites that actually do something, where breaking has a real cost.

And two honest things upfront. The fee is monthly and paid in advance, and it is due whether or not you send us a single request that month, because the watching, the updates and the backups never stop even when you are quiet. And plainly: while we do everything we reasonably can to keep your site safe, online and backed up, 3XRANK cannot accept responsibility for losses outside our control, a host outage, a third-party failure, a lost sale or a ranking drop. We reduce the risk, we do not insure against the world.

Where we do it

Website management,
in your market.

We look after sites for businesses across seven markets, from a Manchester contractor to a London guesthouse and everything in between. Pick your country and we will show you the cities we work in.

On a city page, this section becomes “Everything we do in [City]”, linking to every service we offer there.

Everything else you’re wondering

The questions people ask
before they sign up.

Real questions, from people deciding whether a maintenance plan is worth it, and quite reasonably not sure yet.

“Can I just hire someone to manage my website?”

Yes, and that is exactly what this is. You do not have to learn WordPress, chase a freelancer who stops replying, or keep a developer on staff for the odd change. You host with us, you send a message when something needs doing, and it gets done, while we quietly keep the whole thing updated, backed up and online in the background. It is the boring, essential job nobody wants to own, done by someone who does.

“How much does website maintenance cost?”

Less than one emergency, and far less than a site that quietly falls apart. We run a few packages, from light upkeep to an unlimited plan, billed monthly and upfront, so you always know the number. The honest truth is that most people pay nothing until the day the site breaks, then pay a fortune to fix it in a panic. A plan is the small, predictable cost that stops the large, unpredictable one.

“Do I really need monthly website maintenance?”

A brochure site that never changes, maybe not, and we will tell you so. Anything with a login, a form, a booking, a shop or a plugin, yes, because those are the parts that break, go out of date and get attacked. Software the world can reach needs watching the same way a car needs servicing. You can skip it for a while, right up until the morning it does not start, which is always the worst possible morning.

“What does website maintenance actually include?”

The unglamorous list that keeps a site alive: updates to the core, the plugins and the code, security patches, off-site backups, uptime and Search Console monitoring, speed checks, broken links and forms fixed, and content kept current when you ask. Plus the part people forget, an actual human who reads your message, makes the change, and tells you it is done. Not a plugin that emails a report nobody reads.

“Why is a website so costly to maintain?”

Because a website is not a poster, it is software, and software rots if nobody tends it. Plugins update and clash, a host changes something, an attacker finds an old door, a form quietly stops sending. Every one of those is cheap to prevent and expensive to fix after the fact. What you are really paying for is that none of it becomes your problem, and that when something does go wrong at a bad time, it is already being handled.

“What if my site goes down or vanishes from Google?”

We are usually on it before you are. Because your site is hosted with us, we watch for downtime, errors and Search Console warnings directly, so a site that goes down, stops showing, or throws an error gets caught and fixed fast, often before a customer ever sees it. Without a plan, that is the phone call at the worst moment to a freelancer who may or may not answer. With one, it is a thing that quietly gets sorted.

“Can I just maintain the site myself?”

You can, and for a simple site you might be fine, and we will say so honestly. The trouble is that maintenance is invisible until it is urgent, so it is the first thing that slips when you are busy running the actual business. Updates get skipped, backups stop, and nobody is watching at 2am when it goes down. A plan is not for people who cannot do it, it is for people who would rather not have to remember to.

“Will AI just maintain my website for me?”

Not really, and be careful of anyone selling that. AI can flag some issues and we use it every day, but it cannot decide which update is safe to apply, judge whether a change looks right on your actual pages, or answer for it when an automatic update takes the site down. It has no judgement about your business and no accountability when it is wrong. Maintenance was never about the task. It was about someone being responsible for the result.

FAQ

Still wondering.

What is included in a website maintenance plan?

+

Updates to the core, plugins and code, security patches, off-site backups, uptime and Search Console monitoring, speed checks, broken links and forms fixed, and edits done on request. Plus a real person who reads your message and makes the change, not a plugin that emails a report.

How fast do you make a change I ask for?

+

Usually the same day for small edits, because your site is hosted with us and we have direct access. You send a message describing what you want, and it gets done. Bigger jobs get a quick timeline first, so you always know when to expect it.

Do I have to host with you?

+

Yes, and that is the point. Direct access to your hosting is what lets us watch the site, catch downtime, and make changes in hours instead of a week of back-and-forth with a host who does not answer. A plan for a site we cannot reach is just a promise.

Do you maintain sites you did not build?

+

Yes. Once a site is hosted with us, we can look after it, whoever built it. We also maintain 3XRANK builder sites for owners who would rather never touch hosting, downtime or the technical side at all.

What is in the Unlimited plan?

+

Unlimited edits, more pages whenever you need them, your on-page SEO improved over time, and two fresh blog articles a week. It is maintenance that also grows the site. It does not include new features or upgrades to web apps, which are quoted separately.

How am I billed?

+

A simple monthly fee, paid upfront. It is due whether or not you send a single request that month, because the updates, backups and monitoring never stop even when you are quiet. No long contracts, and you can leave when you like.

What if I do not need anything one month?

+

The site is still being watched, updated and backed up, so the plan is still doing its job even in a quiet month. You are paying for the site to be safe and cared for, not by the edit. Skip a month of requests and nothing is wasted.

What happens when my site goes down or drops off Google?

+

We are usually already on it. Because we host and monitor your site directly, downtime, errors and Search Console warnings reach us fast, often before a customer notices. We fix the hosting side, and tell you what happened in plain words.

Are you responsible if something goes wrong?

+

We do everything we reasonably can to keep your site safe, online and backed up, and that prevents most problems. But we cannot accept responsibility for losses outside our control, a third-party outage, a lost sale, a ranking drop. We reduce the risk, we do not insure against the world.

What is the first step?

+

A short conversation about your site, where it is hosted, and how hands-off you want to be. Tell us that, and we will tell you which plan fits, exactly what it covers, and what it costs. If you do not need a plan yet, we will say so.
